Founded in 2007, Echo4 is a Canadian veteran owned and operated company, formed to meet the need for objectivity and consistency in security screening and personnel management in high-risk environments.
Our flagship product, vettid™, and its supporting methodology equip users to collect and analyze a robust set of personnel data, which is then collated to identify trends and highlight threats. The design and development of this tool was rooted in our founders’ experience with managing locally employed populations on NATO operations in international conflict zones including Bosnia, Haiti and Afghanistan.
Our company name, Echo4, references the most flexible opening move in chess. It captures our philosophy and operating approach – to make a smart, tactical beginning to a strategic enterprise. We are committed to proactive risk management that we believe protects assets and saves lives.
